Paige Davey

School Re-engagement specialist, Parent Advocate, and Trainer.

With over six years at the helm of two prestigious institutions, my tenure as School Principal at Niddrie Autistic School and Campus Principal at Western Autistic School has been marked by an unwavering commitment to inclusive education and leadership in curriculum development. At the core of my approach was a mission to empower every student through tailor-made curricula.

My expertise lies in bridging the gap between educational policy and classroom practice, ensuring that  teams consistently deliver transformative learning experiences. The values of equity and innovation have been the guiding principles of my career, and I am eager to continue fostering environments where diversity in learning is celebrated.

As a leader at the Autism Teaching Institute I coordinated and delivered post graduate teacher studies. I worked closely with leaders and innovators from their respective genres, including Psychologists, Professors, Speech Therapists, Occupational therapists and teachers. As a trainer/assessor I worked alongside teachers in their classrooms supporting them to translate theory to practise.

The values of equity and innovation have been the guiding principles of my career, and I am eager to continue fostering environments where diversity in learning is celebrated.

I am privileged to have had a long career working with autistic children and their families and I am passionate about making a difference for each  individual. I develop trusting, respectful relationships with students, their families and professionals in order to foster deep and effective collaboration.

Alongside  my professional experience I bring my personal perspective as an autistic woman, I am committed to assisting students to develop self knowledge, care and confidence and to ensure that educational settings provide optimal environments for students to thrive.

On a personal note I live in the lovely Bayside area of Melbourne with my husband Rob and our 3 legged dog Zara. Our 4 adult children are working and pursuing their dreams with our loving support.

I am excited to be a part of the passionate team at Can’t Face School and continue to make a difference in the lives of students and families.
