FAQS

Services

How does Can’t Face School operate?

We offer a Free Consultation for 15 mins which gives you a chance to describe your situation to us, and give us a chance to see how we can help you.

We have an Initial Consultation which must be completed prior to having an action plan session. This consultation goes for 1 hour, then afterwards a list of detailed suggestions and next steps to assist you will be shared.

We have an offering of single 1 hour consultations for re-engaging into school planning. These can be booked at any time from the website under ‘Action Planning’ sessions.

We know that this work can take a bit of time, so we also offer individual packages of 10 / 15 / 20 hours which will usually stretch over the course of 3 months. This gives us time to follow up on our suggestions and next steps. This also allows us to build relationships and trust with schools, parents, other professionals and young people.

Does Can’t Face School work directly with young people?

Yes. If the situation will benefit the family and the young person then we can provide virtual sessions, face to face sessions, and meet the young person at school / home / or in a public place.

Pathway planning sessions to ‘Work It Out’ with young people are individual and just for young people.
The majority of our case work is supporting parents or carers and other professionals
