Ashleigh is a dedicated Re-engagement Specialist deeply committed to student wellbeing, engagement and the empowerment of neurodiverse learners.
With nearly a decade of experience teaching in primary and secondary schools across regional Victoria, her journey in education has been driven by a passion for developing and promoting inclusive learning environments, where every student is valued and feels supported.
Ashleigh’s expertise extends beyond the classroom, she has actively collaborated with families, students, schools, and various support services in a range of roles, including as Re- engagement Co-ordinator in a pilot program she designed, and as a Diverse Learning Co- ordinator for junior secondary students, which included supporting the transition of Grade 6 students into secondary school.

Ashleigh knows how vital communication and collaboration is to achieving success for those she works with. What sets her apart is her unwavering dedication to continuous improvement.
She has completed specialised training in trauma-informed models such as the Berry Street Education Model and recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Education specialising in Student Wellbeing from ACU.
A mum of two young children, Ashleigh addresses all with empathy and understanding. She recognises the importance of an individualised approach for each young person and their support systems.
Beyond her professional life, Ashleigh has a healthy relationship with Netflix, a less-than-healthy one with chocolate and is a die-hard tragic punk rock fan.
